Christis Dairies Ltd started out in 1961 as a milk pasteurization and bottling company. During the last 40 years, Christis applied revolutionary production methods, adopted 'state-of-the-art' dairy packaging solutions and managed to supply the market with the widest range of quality products ever produced in Cyprus. Christis started 'leading the way' in 1974 when it expanded its production capacity and created the cheese production department, in order to satisfy the growing demand for dairy products and to utilise as much as possible the locally produced milk quantities.
By 1985, Christis Dairies Ltd moved to its newly built ultra-modern factory at Ayios Athanasios Industrial Area in Limassol, which is continuously being upgraded and expanded. Today it is one of the most modern, efficient and environmentally friendly industrial units in Cyprus.
Christis Dairies is the first food manufacturing company in Cyprus that has been certified (in 1996) with the ISO 9002 certificate. This recognition shows not only the high quality standards of the company's products, but also the EU oriented strategy of Christis Dairies.
