N S Koutsokoumnis LtdDescription: The firm was established in 1952 in Kyrenia district, Cyprus. It began with the processing and bottling of lemon juice out of the tasty and juicy lemons of the Kyrenian plane strip. Very soon the family venture extended into the making of jams, packed in traditional clay bowls. Gradually the firm grew into a fruit and vegetable cannery, processing a big variety of local agricultural products. In 1974, after the Turkish invasion and occupation of the northern part of Cyprus, the company was forced to restart from nothing in the Nicosia area, basically in the same food manufacturing sector, with a slightly different mix. Today the factory is situated in the Strovolos Industrial Zone, near Nicosia, producing a wide range of quality food products, packed in a variety of carefully-chosen containers, thus serving a wide spectrum of demanding market segments.
